Vazquez de Sola: Trazos de una vida

20130926_160451

“In September 21, 1975, Andrés Vázquez de Sola (San Roque, Cádiz, 1927) returns to Spain after a long season in France. Cartoonist of prestige on french soil, he’s now looking for their place in the country where he was born.
Trazos de una vida chronicles the various stages in the life of artist relying on the testimonies of friends like Julio Anguita, Juan José Antonio Tellez or Antonio Fraguas (Forges). A life full of ups and downs. A life made with strokes of fate.”

This documentary by L & B Producciones shows a portrait in first person, passionate and lucid, full of vitality, as Vazquez de Sola himself. 60 minutes full of stories and anecdotes, a lifetime in and out of the paintings, the drawings…

It was a real pleasure to be part of this project with several songs. I want to thank Pablo (@PabloLaraToledo) and Manuel (@mBroullon) for their confidence and support. I hope to repeat the adventure soon!

Meet Point: Cup of Couple & Clothes Encounters

Certainly one of the territories in which betterwithmusic’s library seems to have entered extensively is fashion blogs. Another one is cooking blogs, which I’ll discuss another day.

I’m missing fingers to count the videos where my music, thankfully, plays in the background. There are only two blogs mentioned in this post; the two most prominent and possibly (and luckily) the two which have used betterwithmusic’s library the most. Anyway, it’s a very small sample of the blogs in whose videos I have been fortunate to participate. I wish I could mention all of them but this post would have no end. Sorry, I don’t forget all of you who are not here. I make this post as a small token of appreciation for your trust and support. Thanks all!
CUP OF COUPLE (Madrid, Spain)

“Okay, we’ll admit we’re total suckers for a good love story, and can’t help but admire those cool couples who know how to perfectly mix business and pleasure. In this case, we were instantly charmed by Mike Madrid and Gabriel Garcia, a Madrid-based twosome who created their blog. They blend their talents on the site and share their unique style sensibilities, the two perfectly complement each other.” REFINERY 29

“It’s definitely one of the most influential blogs in the national fashion scene and especially Madrid.” LACOSTE

Little more I can add. It is just always a pleasure to participate in well-crafted videos. You always hope they post again to see if one of your recordings made it into a new one.

CLOTHES ENCOUNTERS (Los Angeles, California)

Accesories, outfits, tutorials … As Jenn says “This blog is a hub where you can soak in your weekly taste of my style, people I find inspiring, and places I frequent.”

Jenn’s advice accumulate more than 400.00 YouTube subscribers and over 28 million!!! video plays. So many people can not be wrong, right?
