New Release: environment

Influences… Koyaziu & Yunclas, Xixón Ciudad Sonora, Jon Hopkins, Samuel Kerridge, The Field, Field Recording and Soundscapes, OPN, shxcxchcxsh, noise, small clubs full of smoke, PD, barricades, Container, dystopian, Stockhausen, Black Paintings, cyberpunk, masks, sweat ooze…

environment it’s an album close to noise and techno, the darkest and most industrial approach to electro here so far.

It combines forceful kicks and acid sequences with ethereal soundscapes, always starting from environmental sounds, sound landscapes … The rest is noise …

It is also the result of the techniques and methods developed with Pedro Lebrato: the project “Xixón, Ciudad Sonora”. An attempt to build rhythms and melodies from the sound that surrounds us.

Either through the sound landscapes themselves, their decomposition into loops or the creation of new sounds from these field recordings through synthesis, sequencing and effects.

“There is no much thing as an empty space or an empty time. There is always something to see, something to hear. In Fact, try as many to make a silence, we cannot. John Cage

Atmospheres and sequences are modulated in real time by ambient sound “at this moment”, through the transformation into midi data of the information collected by several microphones.

In short, it’s also an experimental recording in terms of its creation and production process.

The opportunity of add new music to this library in a “different” way.

That’s all.
